Our story
Livestock Affairs was founded with a clear vision, to restore innovation and care to the core of the livestock industry. We saw the same patterns everywhere, livestock systems rich in value but invisible to the formal economy, farmers with substantial assets but no way to prove it, and institutions wanting to invest but lacking the data to do so responsibly.
Traditional approaches, paper registers, ad-hoc surveys, and disconnected databases were not solving the problem. Africa needed something purpose-built, a platform that could work offline in remote areas, respect traditional knowledge while meeting modern standards, and produce the kind of structured, verifiable data that financial and regulatory systems demand.
